Community outreach is an integral part of NEWIRE, and the Community Involvement Committee gives members a wonderful opportunity to help a range of non-profit organizations.  The group is dedicated to hands-on community service geared toward women and children in need.  Clothing, Mother’s Day and Baby Shower drives collect much needed necessities and “extras” to enrich the lives of families in shelters.  The Holiday Shopping Party is a fun December organization wide event with a percentage of sales donated to a non-profit organization.  CIC also contributes to a variety of women’s health awareness issues. These events are hallmarks of what this committee is all about.
