DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

Co-Chairs: Elizabeth Krol and Susan Davis

The purpose of the committee is to provide hands-on development opportunities for one or more community service projects involving the spectrum of disciplines represented by NEWIRE members. The NEWIRE services benefit community based non-profit organizations that do not have the internal capacity or experience to undertake a community development project. The committee creates a registry of NEWIRE Volunteers, prepares a request for proposal for interested community organizations, chooses development projects, works with sponsors to staff volunteers to development projects and provides project outcome data. The committee meets once a month, typically following the NEWIRE lunch meeting.
Committee Members:  Rebecca Bachand, Lyn Lustig, Roberta Sydney, Leslie Fanger, Rebecca Sullivan, Laura Shea, Julie Schultz
