NEWIRE is managed by a Steering Committee, which has the powers of a Board of Directors. All Steering Committee members are volunteers, and serve three-year terms on a rotating basis. NEWIRE also appoints two delegates to the CREW Network who serve for staggered two-year terms. Elections are held annually.
