Once again, we were very fortunate to have a strong group of candidates for the Foundations annual scholarship from both undergraduate and graduate programs throughout New England. This year, the NEWiRE Educational Foundation Scholarship recipient has the energy, enthusiasm, work ethics and personality that will allow her to be successful in whichever career path she chooses in commercial real estate. So it is with great pleasure that we announce the 2012 NEWiRE Educational Foundation scholarship recipient, Jennifer Wong.
Jennifer is a student at Boston College working towards a degree in Economics and is interested in pursuing a career in commercial real estate upon graduation. Jennifer worked in the real estate industry during her summer breaks and she enjoys the fast paced work environment. For Jennifer, it’s not only important to work in a field to which she can add value but she also want to have a career that allows her to fulfill her greater passion of helping others build a more secure future. Jennifer considers NEWiRE a resource that can ease the insecurities that young women can have entering a male dominated industry by providing reassurance and support. We wish Jennifer the best as she continues her education.
